The new XYZ Extreme® Anchor represents a radical departure from conventional anchor designs. Its extreme holding power in sand or mud will exceed up to 500% of existing anchors of similar weight, and up to 900% of similar length. Ultra strong and short shank has insignificant penetration resistance, may never bend and is almost indestructible.

When set deep in sand with 5:1 scope the XYZ will maintain holding power even at 2:1 scope. The XYZ is capable of reaching enormous depth in sand and mud where it obtains constant upright orientation through 360° movement. It may not break out, even when overpowered.

The XYZ Extreme® anchor was designed using state-of-the-art extensive computer simulation for any possible situation and severe field-testing was done worldwide on all sea bottoms.

It is a substantial improvement from the previous model that was #1 choice of the 2006 Anchor Test conducted by Practical Sailor and Powerboat Reports magazines, the most trusted USA marine publications. The new XYZ Extreme is made of mirror polished stainless or in galvanized high tensile manganese steel.

These extreme capabilities are not possible with existing anchor designs.

Ultra Short Shank
The Ultra short shank has insignificant penetration resistance. It may prevent bending and may enable the XYZ anchor to be easily saved when stuck between rocks.

Ultra Short Scope
When set deep in sand with 5:1 scope the XYZ will maintain holding power even at 2:1 scope. No other anchor can even come close to these to such a short scope results.

Ultra Light Design
XYZ is ultra light because of completely different design approach. No need for heavy tip-weight (an inefficiency common in other designs) with no moving parts and complex adjustment. Ultra short shank (shank is substantially shorter then fluke) has insignificant penetration resistance, ultimate strength, prevents bending and reduces overall weight.

Will Not Break Out
The XYZ Anchor will not break out in deep sand, in most cases, even when overpowered or when angle of pull is changed. Anchor may move even deeply or slide in a perfect vertical condition but will not get out. This is tremendously important in situations under harsh weather conditions.

360 ° Upright Orientation
With ultra large blade, the XYZ always corrects itself to 100% horizontal fluke orientation irrelevant of the angle pull. That ability, like on parachute, enables the XYZ to always resist motion at 100% rate. Please see video. If overpowered in sand the XYZ will not break out. It will reach enormous depth at perfect upright position. At that point, anchor’s effort to go deeper is limited only by resistance and strength of cable and/or chain size. The XYZ’s artificial intelligence design makes all this motions possible.

Please Note:
Although the XYZ’s design and large fluke surface enables high holding power, it should be understood that the lightweight anchor may have limitations on the sea bottoms that are hard, non-consistent, and/or mixed. Sometimes only heavy anchors can break hard surface coating and then penetrate deep into the sea bottom. Choosing anchor size depends not only on a boat size, but also on the type of the anchoring sea bottoms. Always try to avoid grass, corals, hard, mixed, unknown and unpredictable bottoms. Always have a large spare anchor on your boat. Performance data for holding power, scope, and strength of the XYZ’s components are exclusively related for use on consistent deep sand bottoms. Performance on the sea bottoms such as rocks, very soft mud, non-consistent and mix sea bottoms are unpredictable and therefore are not presented.
