Do transactions to specific Florida zip codes result in a 0% sales tax calculation?
NavStore must now collect Florida Sales Tax. However, if we are shipping to certain zip codes, often times no Florida Sale Tax is collected. This is when we ship to certain Freight Forwards in Florida. Avalara, the producer of Tax compliance software, has published a document showing which zip code in Florida should be billed 0% Florida Sales tax when shipped to. If your freight forwarder is in one of these zip code you will most likely not be billed Florida Sales Tax. This is for shipments that will be exported out of the US.
